Hello, I'm Alyssa!

Hi, I'm Alyssa Jones! I am an informal educator for museums, historic sites, and environmental sites. I love teaching, creating lesson plans, videos, and virtual programs for a variety of subjects and age groups. 
Research is another passion of mine and will travel far and wide to find the answers you seek.

Currently I am employed as a historian for Hemlock Ridge in Vermont. My work there is to research the site and create brochures and other materials for future visitors. My previous position was Park Interpreter for Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site for the South Carolina State Parks. Before moving to live on site here, I worked for the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources as the Historian for an archaeology team.
